60% Coordinate Nursing Pathway advising. Communicate with PSCC AAS Nursing advisors. Maintain dedicated Nursing Pathways advising area on the Hardin Valley Campus, and provide advising information to students at other campuses, as well. 20% Develop and implement annual plans for the program area. Develop and maintain relationships with transfer institutions for Nursing Pathways. Develop and maintain accurate advising literature for transfer institutions/programs. Keep current information on website and available in print.
15% Collaborate with Student Orientation coordinators to ensure that all incoming students who are interested in nursing are given appropriate information. Coordinate with enrollment representatives to represent PSCC at high school events, career fairs, etc.
5% Other duties
Participate in routine activities and special initiatives related to Nursing Pathways. Mediate and address student and faculty concerns and conflicts. Supervise work-study and/or Student Employment Program (SEP) students. &nbsp;

Nature of Contacts: The nursing path coordinator will interact with administrators, advisors, coordinators, faculty, and students in the college as they obtain and share relevant information regarding the nursing pathway. In addition, the coordinator will interact with local transfer partners to share information regarding transfer options for students.
Responsibility for Accuracy: These errors, or oversights should be caught, if not immediately by the supervisor, the Dean or Departmental Assistant, and by the subsequent reviewers.
Judgement and Decisions: Day to day management of Nursing Pathways advising.

Position Summary: Overall purpose of this position is to ensure accurate administration and management of financial aid programs in compliance with federal, state and institutional regulations. Accountable for timely execution of federal, state and institutional funding for student and institutional budgets. Independently provide up-to-date subject matter expertise on federal student aid programs including Return to Title IV, Federal Student Loans, Parent Plus Loans, Alternative Loans, Federal and Instructional Work-study and the Student Aid Application (FAFSA) Data Verification Program to internal and external stakeholders in support of PSCC enrollment objectives and mission.
Essential Functions:
40% Administer Federal and State Student Aid programs, including but not limited to FAFSA applications; perform verification of all verifiable data elements of the FAFSA application; review FAFSA and student documents to resolve conflicting information; enter corrections to FAFSA through FAA and/or Banner; review keyed corrections thru Banner to ensure that all corrections have been made correctly; process federal student aid awards including but not limited to Federal Pell Grant, FSEOG, Federal Work Study and Federal Student Loans. Administer alternative loan program. Determine eligibility for State aid programs including but not limited to Tennessee Education Lottery Scholarships, (Hope, TN Promise, TN Reconnect,) and TSAA Tennessee Grants. Process timely certification files via FAST; Review and work eligibility reports; calculate, post, verify and reconcile awards. Process returns to Title IV aid related to post withdrawal disbursements, Pell Overpayments and returns of previously awarded Federal Student Aid per federally established guidelines. Notify students of any changes to their federal and/or State Aid eligibility during the term that result in adjustments to their PSCC student account.
15% Work with Common Origination Disbursement (COD), National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS), various loan lenders, and other applicable parties to resolve problems including student loan default, bankruptcies, SAR C codes, Fresh Start Loan Program. Assist the director/manager to review, analyze, interpret, and troubleshoot system COD extract and import reports to discern errors, identify problem with pells and loans, and take the appropriate action to correct them.&nbsp;
10% Monitor student continued eligibility based on aid retention requirement and administer appeals processes. Review satisfactory academic progress standards to determine continued eligibility for student aid. Review bench marks and enrollment requirements for continuation of eligibility for state aid programs. Facilitate and/or serve on appeal committee for SAP appeals and IRP for state aid appeals.
10% Review various reports to address issues related to student aid including but not limited to credit hour mismatch, over-award, multiple reporting, transfer monitoring, and reconciliation for Pell and loans
5% Remain current on all Federal, State and Institutional regulations and procedures; staying abreast of Federal, State and Institutional policies, rules and regulations pertaining to financial aid programs.
5% Provide support to the off-site campuses as needed. Utilize a holistic student focused approach to counsel, inform, and process student situations in person, virtually, and by phone, offering excellent customer service. Conduct events such as high school FAFSA nights, Financial Aid Days and Welcome day events.
5% Participate in on-going training/professional development in the following areas: financial aid, start strong center, admissions, registration, advising, and customer service.
5% Administer student scholarships. Accurately and timely post scholarships following institutional, state and federal guidelines.

Magnitude of Impact: The magnitude of student financial aid programs on PSCC is far reaching and can be caught within days or weeks. Almost every department and facet of a College depends on keeping Federal Student aid Title IV programs in compliance. A State or Federal audit finding in Financial aid programs could result in monetary fines to the college and jeopardize the continuing eligibility in the Student Financial Aid programs. Any issues will first be addressed by the financial aid supervisor/director. If necessary, the AVP will be involved. The AVP will always be kept abreast of any significant issues involving the program(s) this employee oversees.
Responsibility for Accuracy: It is most likely that an error would be caught. Errors will be found by daily automated reports via Banner, Argos or DegreeWorks. Coordinators are required to perform internal audits to verify accuracy. If errors are not caught in a timely manner, students could receive awards that they are not eligible for and could result in state and/or federal audit findings. These findings could result in fines to the school and possible loss of Title IV and/or State aid eligibility. In addition, if students do not have their money on their accounts in a timely manner and they are dependent on financial aid, they may not enroll, thus dropping PSCC enrollment numbers and affecting the schools budgetary income.
Judgement and Decisions: This position makes and is responsible for independent decisions related to the management and administration of Title IV federal student aid and TN State aid. They are responsible for and implementing any changes or updates with occasional consultation of the Financial Aid Manager or Director. Monitor enrollment changes to perform the calculations for return to Title IV processing.

Job Summary: The role of the visual media coordinator is to support the college’s internal and external marketing efforts through the means of photography and videography, as well as coordinating all of the planning, scheduling, and writing required to produce various forms of media that will promote the college and support its brand. This position requires cataloguing and archiving media to maintain and sort the College’s visual media servers.
Essential Functions:
30% Use skills and knowledge of video production and editing to initiate, conceptualize, and produce video projects to promote Pellissippi State. Projects may include advertisements, academic program videos, testimonials, updates from the President and promotions of upcoming events, as well as video shorts and skits for social media. Must be able to tell a story through video and positively support the College’s image and goals. Responsible for all pre-production (pre-interviews, gathering information, transporting equipment), production (directing shoots, setting up lighting, composing shots, shooting footage, sound recording) and post-production (editing footage, designing and implementing graphics, selecting music, designing sound). Must be able to output to television and web applications.
30% Use skills and knowledge of photography to shoot still photographs to document the activities and events of the College; provide illustrative images to support news releases, ads, and publications; produce multimedia presentations as requested for use in events and speeches; provide daily photos for social media and web use; and capture the essence of the people, programs, and activities of the College. Responsible for editing photographs to make them ready for use by the college. Catalog and store all digital resources on media server in an organized fashion for archival purposes, and to make available for other college employees. Provide suggestions for media upon request. Talent scout, schedule, and communicate with subjects for photography and video shoots, and gathering bios and leads for potential stories and marketing materials.
10% Collaborates with others in the department to maintain assets and contribute to the College’s social media accounts. Produces, edits, and updates content that is newsworthy, relevant and engaging on a variety of platforms.
7.5% Supervise student employees (Federal Work Study, Student Employment&nbsp;&nbsp; Program, etc.) that are placed within visual media.

Complexity &amp; Creativity: 
The role of the visual media coordinator not only requires a broad technical knowledge of visual media, it also requires skills in multitasking, writing experience, communication skills, reliability and good organization. This position is responsible for providing all forms of visual media for marketing purposes, and photography often provides a basis for the development of projects within the department.
This position can regularly be expected to provide photography for events, take candid shots of students and college staff, interview photography subjects for social media or publications, edit photos, upload to the server, and be available for any other requests that may occur throughout the day.
For videography, this position is responsible for making self-contained video packages that will be used in various outlets to promote the college for the purpose of student recruitment and for promotion of its brand. When making a video package, the visual media coordinator is expected to provide a script, recruit talent, schedule shooting times, arrange locations, set up for shoots, direct talent while also filming, and then edit the footage into an effective product. The visual media coordinator will then make the video available either on social media or to vendors that will distribute the video on television or screens at venues. Audio packages are also produced in this position, for use on the radio or as sound bites in online ads.
This position is expected to provide both photography and videography, and as there are many events that require both, multitasking will be required in order to properly provide in both fields. The visual media coordinator is expected to take charge and coordinate shoots to get all elements of media that will properly capture the spirit of events, as well as day to day life at the college.
It is required that the coordinator properly adheres to the standards of guidelines of the college when creating his/her material, and established logos and graphics are to be added in as needed, so an awareness of the college’s brand is strongly required. This position is also expected to take the diverse community of the college into account when selecting photography and videography subjects. The college values diversity among its students, faculty and staff, and media produced by this position should be reflected as such with the subjects that are chosen.
Because this position is the primary supplier of assets for the College’s website, print materials and social media, excellent customer service is required with internal and external audiences. The visual media coordinator will collaborate with others in the department to measure the success of marketing campaigns and monitor feedback, responding appropriately as needed.&nbsp;
Magnitude of Impact: 
When the videos and photos are effective, they can translate into additional student enrollment, higher attendance for events, positive perception of the college and additional donor support. The position involves using visual media to assist in establishing and maintaining the College’s brand, which is an integral part of the College’s marketing strategy. If a problem should arise relating to this position, the department director would work to resolve it.
Responsibility for Accuracy: 
This position requires a high level of accuracy, a knowledge of how to maintain equipment, awareness of the college’s brand and procedures, and constant reliability pertaining to scheduling.
Errors made could include: Adding incorrect graphical information in videos, either in the form of wrong phone numbers, names, contact info, etc.
Improperly maintaining equipment that could result in damage and replacement.
Failing to show up to events due to scheduling errors.
Failing to identify undesirable gestures, clothing, or generally unattractive items when editing photo and video Failing to include diversity within photos and videos, which may result in a disconnect between the product and certain audience members who do not feel included.
The likelihood of errors getting caught it relatively high, although mistakes can still be made and materials can be sent to the public before they are properly identified, which makes it all the more important to have a good eye.
Financial Impact: This job is responsible for maintaining thousands of dollars’ worth of video and photography equipment, and is expected to protect them from theft and damage. Carelessness or negligence can result in requiring replacement or repair of equipment.

Position Summary:&nbsp;The enrollment services coordinator will plan, implement, and execute marketing and recruitment strategies to increase new student enrollment at Pellissippi State.&nbsp; Recruit students for targeted programs as well as traditional and non-traditional students. Coordinators advise and inform prospective students and parents regarding admissions and financial aid procedures. This position will rotate between all Pellissippi State campuses.
Essential Functions:
30% Plan, oversee and implement effective marketing and recruitment strategies and events to maximize new student enrollment.&nbsp; Use Banner software to plan events for both traditional and non-traditional student populations. Plan events including the annual Open House, TN Promise info sessions, Adult Learner Open House, academic themed programs, special group tours, veteran students, and other special events at all campuses.
25% Serve as primary contact to new students. Counsel and inform high school and transfer students, re-entry students (and their parents) regarding potential enrollment and requirements at Pellissippi State as they relate to both admissions and financial aid. Communicate and provide updates to high school counselors about changes in curriculum and new initiatives, programs, and services at Pellissippi State. Work with business and industry to publicize opportunities for credit and non-credit courses.
15% Represent Pellissippi State at college and career fairs and business trade shows within our eight county region.&nbsp; Assist in the implementation of a comprehensive enrollment management plan that increases potential student inquiries and provides systematic tracking of students from prospects to enrollment which is consistent with the college’s strategic plan.
15% Collaborate with Campus Deans to coordinate recruiting, marketing and event planning strategies for site campus specific programs. Oversee special tours and weekly tours for assigned campuses.&nbsp; Ensure enrollment brochure supply for assigned campuses are sufficient and current
10% Assist with registration activities: dual enrollment, financial aid assistance, and drop/add assistance during peak times
5% Serve on committees as assigned and other duties as assigned.

Complexity &amp; Creativity:&nbsp;
When working with students and helping them navigate enrollment processes like financial aid the job can be very complex.&nbsp; For example, if an enrollment services coordinator is working with a student who is doing poorly in classes and wants to withdraw, – the Enrollment Services Coordinator must work with other offices like Financial Aid to ensure that withdrawing will not negatively affect the student and future scholarships. When advising students during peak times, Enrollment Services Coordinators help students understand their strengths and abilities and guide them toward realistic goals and majors.&nbsp; The Enrollment Services Coordinator is a ‘one-stop’ person who can guide students (and their parents) through the often murky waters of higher education.&nbsp; Enrollment Services Coordinators (ESC) must be highly skilled communicators who are very diplomatic. ESC must be skilled ‘sales’ people -&nbsp; gathering knowledge of the students (and parents) and using what they know to match what the college has to persuade the student to choose Pellissippi State. ESC’s must cultivate strong relationships with school counselors in our service area, local businesses (for adult applicants), and internal relationships like the Foundation office so we can offer additional funding to students if possible.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Magnitude of Impact:&nbsp;
The position requires collaboration with many offices in the College including but not limited to Admissions and Records, Financial Aid, Advising, Stay Strong Student Success, Academic Services, Student Account Services, etc. As an example, a student requested that their classes be reinstated after being expunged for non-payment. The student did not meet the financial aid priority deadline; therefore, they were waiting on their financial aid verifications to be processed.&nbsp; They started the semester while waiting on processing, few weeks into the semester they experienced a medical condition which caused them to miss two weeks of classes.&nbsp; This issue now required the involvement of their instructors, the offices of Financial Aid, Records, Student Account Services, and Counseling.&nbsp; The impact of the issue was immediate, although the student was now eligible for financial aid, they may not be able to continue because, while sick, they had not made contact with all of their instructors. The issue is pending, but if the student is not satisfied with the outcome the Student Account Services Manager, Financial Aid Director, and VP of Academic Affairs may be called on to intervene.
Responsibility for Accuracy:
Not being informed of changes could bring about errors in communicating with others. The error could be caught by the employee if information is disseminated in a timely manner and the employee contacts the individual(s) or business.&nbsp; If the individual continues through the admissions/financial aid processes, then the misinformation could be caught.&nbsp; The effect of the errors could be the loss of students enrolling/registering for courses, a delay in graduating, ramifications from misinformation regarding Financial Aid (loss of aid, delay in receiving aid), the loss of business and industry involvement with the College, and the reputation of the College could be damaged.
Financial Impact:&nbsp;
Failure to comply with policies regarding residency could result in a student paying significantly less money in tuition if granted incorrect residency status.&nbsp;

Not directly responsible for budget. Does provide input in the materials, supplies and travel needs for the position.

Independent decisions are made daily regarding where, when, and how to recruit students.&nbsp; Coordinators are responsible for their ‘territory’ and it is up to them to maximize their prospects and increase their numbers from their territory each year.&nbsp; They strategize given the numbers of graduates from particular high schools, and the demographic data on the area.&nbsp;&nbsp; Discerning what recruiting events in which area to participate is one of the many independent decisions; and who to involve in these activities. When planning special events (example: tours or other recruiting activities), the employee determines who to include in the events---faculty, staff---what to showcase, etc. Logistics and scheduling activities require judgment.&nbsp; When large groups come to the College, the employee determines when to schedule the visit and how to plan the activities.&nbsp; The employee must determine the logistics (where to tour, how to divide the groups, how many student ambassadors are needed, what faculty to include, how and where the tours are conducted, etc.).&nbsp;&nbsp; Decisions are shared, but most decisions are not reviewed before becoming effective.&nbsp; If decisions need to be reviewed, the Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Services is the individual who would be consulted.&nbsp;
Nature of Contacts:
The nature of the interactions is to provide and get information, to discuss different areas of the College, to discuss and seek understanding, to resolve conflict, and to plan and implement various recruitment events and publications. Within the College, contacts include support staff in different departments, faculty and deans, Registrar, Marketing, Advisors, IT, site deans, Event Services, financial aid, managers, Assistant VP, Vice President, President, cohort director, curriculum director, Foundation office.&nbsp; Outside the College includes potential students, parents, high school educators (administration/teachers/counselors), middle school and elementary personnel and students, Department of Education representatives, other higher education institution personnel (administrators, recruiters, etc.), community leaders, employers, non-profit organizations, correctional facility personnel and inmates, etc.&nbsp;
Physical Demands:
The job requires staffing events where boxes/cartons of materials are loaded/unloaded, hauled and set up. The weight of the cartons can vary but could weigh 20-40 pounds. Many of the recruiting events require long hours of standing.&nbsp; Travel is involved in the job.&nbsp; There is a lot of keyboard/computer work involved in the job.

 Position Summary: To provide quality instruction for student learning and to maintain a positive learning environment in the classroom. The major emphasis will be placed on teaching and evaluating students in the classroom and laboratories.
 Department: Business &amp; Computer Technology
 Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Planning and teaching classes as assigned and as outlined in the course descriptions and course syllabi. 2. Supervising the study and learning activities of students assigned. 3. Submitting requests through the department head, program coordinator, or lead teacher for equipment, supplies, textbooks, and other instructional aids. 4. Evaluating the academic progress of students. 5. Demonstrating knowledge of services, regulations, and procedures as defined in the Adjunct Faculty Handbook. 6. Submitting course grades and performing other administrative duties as required. 7. Scheduling two office hours. For extenuating circumstances in which office hours cannot be scheduled, the adjunct faculty member must submit a written plan to the Dean describing how students can access the instructor. Office hours are not paid during the summer session.
 Required Qualifications: Master’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited college/university with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the Management teaching field
