This Network Security Engineer III is a senior level position which serves as a technical lead for network security engineering projects which will include architecture design, implementation, maintaining, solution pilots, and training focused around Network Security.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.

  • Lead in network security projects/initiatives/documentation and maintaining updates to open projects to management.
  • Provide support as problems/incidents are escalated to a senior engineer level.
  • Maintain open vulnerabilities on products responsible for.
  • Maintain firmware/software versions on products responsible for. Must be able to conduct a bug scrub and present benefits/reasons why we need to exectute an upgrade.
  • Participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation is required.
  • Ability to preform under pressure should an outage or a breach occur.
  • Able to communicate cleary to upper management and or peer's and customers should it be required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate an ability to process issues/provide solutions and implement fixes until a resolution is found.
  • Demonstration of reliabile daily attendance is required.
  • Participation in team concepts and team building opportunities.
  • Performs duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains a knowledge of Network Security industry trends and standards, able to report on changes seen throughout the industry and why it is of benefit to our infrastructure.
  • Maintain effectivive working releationships with other employees and vendors USRC engages with.
  • Understanding of cyber security and how best the network can defend against ever growing and changing attacks.
  • Work with US Renal Care Security team as new products are deployed and annual reviews are conducted of deployed products, maintain their integrity.
  • Willingness to learn new products as the company requirements grow focused around Network security.
